The Styrassic Park tells the story of the coelacanth, the bellied Triceratops and the Tyrannosaurus Rex – the king of the dinosaurs. During the dino tour some of them will become awakened to life. At 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. the living dinosaur will be let out of its cave!
For more than 20 years, the now 75-year-old grandfather and Ukrainian artist of the house, Boris Tverdochlip, has been depicting the Mesozoic era in his own style in the context of more than 90 life-size works. The saurians are also ancestors and descendants as well as entire 7 million years of human history presented using cement-built creations.
A creature straight out of a fantasy movie – 3.5m high, 8m long. It’s hard to believe that this prehistoric giant that was unable to fly actually existed. The only specimen so far was found in Mongolia and, apart from casts, it is not exhibited in any museum in the world. You won’t find the original bones in Styrassic Park either, but here is the life-size likeness made by our Ukrainian artist, Boris Tverdochlib.
Meet the mysterious theropods! Every day at 11 a.m. and at 3 p.m. the 6m long and 3m tall carnivorous reptile is let out of its cave!
66 million years ago, a meteoroid wiped out the dinosaurs, but the planet recovered quickly. The new living conditions opened up space for those animals that didn’t have it easy in the midst of the gigantic dinosaurs. Snow and cold didn’t bother them – the time of mammals has begun and here in Styrassic Park the diversity of the Ice Age is presented so close you can touch it. You can imagine how our ancestors once hunted a mamut and if you dare you can look a saber-toothed tiger straight in the eye.
Approximately 7 million years lie between the upright walking of a hominid in Africa and the Internet as we know it today. In between lies an incredible story – evolution in its purest form. From group formation to discovering fire, using tools and creating cave paintings, we will show you around as if you were there.
Guided tours possible at any time (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)! Let take you on a journey through the age of the Mesozoic! Using a QR code, you can listen to the most exciting facts at the respective stations in the form of a video tour or read them directly from the information board.
