Silent Day - Styrassic Park

Experience two days of silence in Styrassic Park!

On these days (April 12th and 13th, 2024) we will adapt the park so that it is also accessible to autistic and highly sensitive people as well as those seeking peace and quiet. Based on the “quiet hour” in supermarkets, we want to make tourism more barrier-free with our “Quiet Days”. The “Quiet Days” are intended to create an inclusive space in which all families can create beautiful memories together with their children.

Designed to meet the needs of sensitive people

All electronic dinosaurs, loudspeakers and other “noise makers” will be turned off and our cinema hall will be converted into a space with little stimulation, where you can retreat if you feel overwhelmed. The rides will have “quiet times” and “active times” that will alternate every two hours. Activities such as climbing, plaster casting, painting stations, giant slides and bouncy castles can be enjoyed throughout the day. Our excavation site is available for research all day long, where you can try your hand at paleontology. Those who find the playground too busy can find peace in our dinosaur forest, where benches invite you to rest and listen to the birds.

LebensgrGoß will have an information stand on the quiet days. This is intended to educate people about the topic and inform those interested. The stand will also serve as a networking point for those affected. For children who find the hustle and bustle too much, Neuroth will provide noise-cancelling headphones to borrow. These are available at the entrance on request, while supplies last.

In close cooperation with LebensGroß’s autism focus, awareness-raising and preparation was carried out specifically for the “Silent Day”. In training sessions, the special requirements of autistic visitors were addressed and suitable measures were developed together.
