Welcome to Styrassic Park – a place where you can really make time stand still! True to the motto “From family to family”, this family business in Styria, now 26 years old, enchants every age group with its more than 100 life-size dinosaurs and numerous attractions! The amusement park is therefore not only ideal for a day trip with children, but also perfect for a holiday in the Baumhotel, 6 metres up among the dinosaurs. So whether you’re a die-hard dino fan, an adrenaline junkie or simply want to spend a relaxing day in nature – everyone really will find their own personal highlight here!

ALL attractions are included in both the day ticket and the overnight price. This covers not only our rides for young and old – above all, our climbing adventures take centre stage.

Even the youngest dino explorers can test their limits for the first time on our low ropes course, while braver visitors venture right across the age of the dinosaurs in our three high ropes courses. For an extra adrenaline rush, there is also our zip line, which takes you straight over the heads of the dinosaurs.

Creativity and the spirit of discovery are not forgotten at Styrassic Park either. In our children’s plaster workshop, everyone can make casts of real fossils or even cast a dino tooth from an original T-Rex impression, paint it and take it home as a very personal souvenir.

This has long made Styrassic Park not only one of Austria’s most popular leisure parks, but also one of the TOP sights in Styria.

So if you’d like to experience our internet sensation for real, right in the middle of the dinosaur park in Austria, make sure you’re at the Dino Restaurant around midday – because that’s exactly when Rexi goes hunting again!

General Information

When is the Dinopark open?

    After 2 November 2026 we close for the winter break. The 2027 season runs from 20 March to 31 October 2027.

Up to what age do children get in free?

All children under 3 get in free. Proof of age must be shown at the ticket desk.

From what age is the park suitable for children?

Many children develop a great interest in dinosaurs at a very early age – but no matter when this interest appears or how strong it is, Styrassic Park offers plenty of play options for children aged 2 and over.

Are dogs allowed in the park?

Yes – after all, to us they are full members of the family too. Please keep them on a lead, and listed breeds must also wear a muzzle.

Can I eat at the park?

Our dino restaurant offers everything from Wiener schnitzel to Styrian specialities (vegetarian/vegan options also available), as well as traditional desserts and a generous salad and soup buffet.

What happens to lost property?

All items found are kept at the ticket desk by the entrance for a maximum of 14 days. Depending on the item, they are then disposed of or donated to Ukraine aid.

Can I pay by debit card or VISA/MasterCard in the park?

Cashless payment is possible at the ticket desk as well as in the souvenir shop and the dino restaurant!

Facilities

Is the park wheelchair- and pushchair-friendly?

Yes! Most areas of the Dinopark are barrier-free. The only place that may not be fully accessible with a wheelchair/pushchair is the forest trail. It is quite possible to get through it with a wheelchair/pushchair, but you should expect it to take some extra effort.

What about parking?

  • 85 per cent of the parking spaces are free of charge
  • 10 per cent of the parking spaces cost € 5,00 per day
  • 5 per cent of the parking spaces are covered and cost € 1,00 per hour up to a max. of € 9,00 per day

Are there EV charging stations?

There are 3 EV charging stations under our photovoltaic system!

Tickets and Prices

Do I have to book tickets online?

Styrassic Park tickets are also available on site at the ticket desk. Bought online , you have your ticket on your phone in advance.

Are there discounts for groups or families?

Reduced admission prices apply at the ticket desk on site for groups of 10 or more, children aged 2-14, senior citizens, people with disabilities and families who bring a family card. In addition, we offer a reduced taster ticket from 15:30.

What are the benefits of the annual pass?

The annual pass is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and is available not only on site but also online. With the annual pass you can visit Styrassic Park as often as you like! It pays for itself from your 3rd visit (based on the standard rate).

Do I have to pay extra for the attractions?

All attractions (including climbing) are already included in the admission price (weather-related restrictions may apply).

In addition, Styrassic Park also has coin-operated games, which are not part of the attractions and can only be played with coins/tokens that can be bought separately at the ticket desk.

Have you ever spent the night in a tree house 6 metres up, right in the middle of adventures in Styria? Our hotel in Bad Gleichenberg offers you not only unique accommodation but also numerous leisure activities. What’s more, when you stay overnight in a tree house at the dinosaur park in Austria, you enjoy not only admission to the park, including all attractions, but also half board with breakfast and dinner. Our pool area with saltwater pool, water slide and beach volleyball court adds plenty of extra fun. Are you planning an unforgettable school trip? The dinosaur park in Austria offers not only the perfect combination of adventure and learning but also unique overnight stays in the Baumhotel. Our ready-to-go programme turns your class trip to Styria into a special experience. A Baumhotel room with its own toilet and shower includes not only full board with drinks but also admission to Styrassic Park, including all attractions. In their free time, pupils can relax in the pool area with water slide or get active on the beach volleyball court, and they can also take part in our wide range of team-building activities, such as raft building and crate climbing, which make for unforgettable project days. Even in rainy weather we offer a varied programme, including a covered high ropes course, a climbing wall, table tennis tables, a football pitch, a plaster workshop for casting dino teeth and a cinema.

With its new wheelchair-accessible playground, Styrassic Park in Bad Gleichenberg has created an adventure area that is now accessible to everyone. And the best part: all wheelchair users get free admission all year round. In addition, as part of the Inclusion Days, the dinosaur park in Austria also invites ALL people on the autism spectrum as well as people with cognitive or physical disabilities to enjoy free admission on the first Saturday of every month!
